MINI COOPER JCW FITMENT
The Mini John Cooper Works F56 (2015–2024) is the ultimate Mini — 228 hp from a turbocharged 2.0L, Brembo front brakes, sport-tuned suspension, and a mechanical LSD. It uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.6mm center bore. The JCW's larger Brembo 4-piston front calipers create significantly tighter clearance constraints than the base Cooper or Cooper S. Forged wheels are the single most impactful modification for this platform — shedding unsprung weight from a 3,000 lb car with this much grip potential is transformative.

18 inches is the minimum safe diameter for the JCW's Brembo brakes. The 4-piston front calipers require careful spoke clearance validation — not all 18" designs will fit.

Why this setup: The JCW's Brembo 4-piston front calipers dictate 18" minimum diameter. Spoke geometry must be validated — some deeper-dish 18" designs will contact the caliper body. A forged 18x8 under 16 lbs replaces the factory 20+ lb cast wheels — a dramatic improvement that unlocks the JCW's LSD, making the car more responsive to throttle inputs and more adjustable mid-corner.
17" Square — Track Configuration
17" over the JCW Brembos is extremely tight and requires purpose-designed spoke profiles with aggressive caliper pockets. The reward is significant — the ultimate lightweight JCW track weapon.

Why this setup: A forged 17x8 under 14 lbs with a 200TW 235mm tire is the ultimate JCW track configuration. The taller 40-series sidewall provides better curbing protection and more compliant handling over rough surfaces. The wider 235mm tire at 17" provides more grip than the factory 18" setup. The weight savings amplify the JCW's mechanical LSD — lighter wheels allow the diff to do its job more effectively.
