NISSAN 300ZX (Z32) FITMENT

The Nissan 300ZX Z32 (1990–1996) is the missing piece of the 90s Japanese supercar pantheon. The twin-turbo VG30DETT produces 300 hp and the wide-body Z32 has some of the most dramatic rear haunches of any Japanese car. It uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 66.1mm center bore. The Z32's wide fenders accommodate aggressive staggered setups that give this car a planted, muscular stance.

Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3  |  Center Bore: 66.1mm  |  Hub Type: Conical Seat  |  Lug Torque: 108 Nm (80 ft-lb)
Fitment Note: The Z32 uses a 66.1mm center bore, which is smaller than the 73.1mm used on S-chassis cars. Hub-centric rings are recommended.

18" Staggered — The Street Standard

Filling the iconic Z32 wide-body fenders with a period-correct aggressive stance and providing access to modern ultra-high-performance tires.

01

18" Aggressive Staggered

Flush fitment that emphasizes the Z32's muscular rear haunches.

  • Recommended Front: 18x9 ET30
  • Recommended Rear: 18x10 ET35 (or 18x10.5 ET38)
  • Street Tires: 245/40R18 Front, 275/35R18 Rear

Why this setup: The Z32's rear fenders are famously wide and accommodate up to 10.5-inch-wide wheels. The front is tighter — stay at ET28+ to avoid inner fender contact. On cars with the factory 2+2 body, clearances are slightly more generous. The Z32 weighs 3,500+ lbs, so forged construction helps offset the mass penalty compared to lighter competitors like the RX-7.

17" Staggered — Track Focus

The track-proven setup with more sidewall and wider tire options for motorsport compounds.

02

17" Track Staggered

Maximum mechanical grip and unsprung weight reduction.

  • Recommended Front: 17x9 ET30
  • Recommended Rear: 17x10 ET35
  • Track Tires (200TW): 255/40R17 Front, 285/40R17 Rear

Why this setup: The 17-inch setup opens up significantly more tire options in motorsport compounds. The taller sidewall helps compensate for the Z32's relatively soft factory suspension geometry. 285/40R17 on the rear provides enormous traction — essential for high-power single-turbo builds. Factory brakes clear 17-inch wheels easily.
