TOYOTA CHASER (JZX100) FITMENT
The Toyota Chaser JZX100 (1996–2001) is a legendary rear-wheel-drive Japanese luxury sedan powered by the 1JZ-GTE inline-six turbo. It uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 60.1mm center bore. Beloved by the drift and VIP communities, the Chaser's long wheelbase and relatively generous rear fender clearances make it an excellent platform for aggressive wheel fitments.

Center Bore Note: The 60.1mm center bore is smaller than Nissan's 66.1mm. Hub-centric rings are essential when using aftermarket wheels to prevent high-speed vibrations.

Why this setup: The JZX100's rear fenders easily accommodate 10-inch-wide wheels with a minor roll. The front is tighter due to steering angle geometry — staying around ET30 keeps the wheel off the suspension arms while remaining relatively flush. A forged 18-inch wheel is essential for drift applications, where the 1JZ's torque and sudden impacts can shatter cheap cast wheels.

For circuit driving and grip-oriented builds, a square setup provides even contact patches for predictable handling and dials out the heavy sedan's tendency to understeer.

- Recommended Size: 18x9.5 ET35 all around
- Tire Sizes: 255/35R18 or 265/35R18 Square
- Note: Front fenders will require rolling/pulling or aftermarket wider fenders to clear a 9.5-inch wheel.
Why this setup: A square setup on the JZX100 provides significantly more front grip than the factory stagger, enabling faster turn-in. 265/35R18 is the sweet spot for 1JZ power levels on a track. For drift builds that still want grip, this is the balanced approach — enough rear traction to hook up while maintaining front grip for fast transitions.
