AUDI RS6 (C8) FITMENT
The C8 Audi RS6 Avant is the ultimate super-wagon. With a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 producing 591 hp and aggressively flared arches, it swallows massive wheels. It uses Audi's standard 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.6mm center bore. Getting the offsets right is key to achieving that perfect, flush stance while clearing the massive optional carbon ceramic brakes.
Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x112 | Center Bore: 66.6mm | Hub Type: Ball Seat | Lug Torque: 160 Nm (118 ft-lb)
Brake Clearance: The RS6 has massive 440mm front rotors with 10-piston calipers (Carbon Ceramic option). 21" is the absolute minimum diameter, and spoke clearance must be explicitly verified.
22" Square — The Super-Wagon Standard
A 22-inch setup is the gold standard for the C8 RS6, providing incredible visual presence that fills the massive wheel wells without compromising the air suspension's ride quality.
01
22" Flush Square
Maximum visual impact, sitting perfectly flush with the massive fenders.
- Recommended Size: 22x10.5 ET10 all around
- Street Tires: 285/30R22 (Factory Size)
- Aggressive Fitment: 22x11 ET12 (Requires 295/30R22)
Why this setup: The RS6's widebody requires extremely low offsets. ET8–ET15 is the sweet spot. A forged 22x10.5 wheel sits perfectly flush, eliminating the need for spacers while significantly reducing unsprung weight compared to the factory 22-inch cast wheels. This weight reduction directly improves the air suspension's ability to control the massive wheels over bumps.
21" Square — Performance & Comfort
For those living in areas with bad roads, or owners wanting a slightly more compliant ride and meatier tire, dropping down to a 21-inch wheel is an excellent choice.
02
21" Meatier Setup
Maximizes sidewall for comfort and pothole protection.
- Recommended Size: 21x10.5 ET10 all around
- Tire Sizes: 285/35R21
- Warning: Spoke clearance is critical at 21" to clear the 10-piston calipers.
Why this setup: The taller 35-series sidewall provides a significant improvement in ride comfort and wheel protection over the 22-inch setup. 21-inch wheels also reduce rotational mass further, slightly improving acceleration and braking performance.
