What is the lead time for a set of Grip Theory wheels?

Because our wheels are forged to order for your specific vehicle and specs, standard lead times are typically 6-8 weeks from order placement to delivery. Custom bespoke orders or magnesium upgrades may add 1-2 weeks. Quick Ship inventory is dispatched within 48 hours.

Do your wheels clear big brake kits (BBK) and carbon ceramics?

Yes. Our motorsport-inspired spoke profiles are explicitly designed for massive brake clearance. We validate our fitments against OEM carbon ceramic brakes (such as those on Porsche GT cars and Ferraris) as well as popular aftermarket BBKs. If you have a specific aftermarket brake setup, contact us with the brake template and we will verify clearance before production.

What is the difference between your 6061-T6 Aluminum and Forged Magnesium?

Our standard forged 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum offers an exceptional balance of low weight, extremely high yield strength, and durability for both track and street. The Forged Magnesium upgrade utilizes an ultra-lightweight magnesium alloy that sheds an additional 20-30% of weight compared to aluminum, minimizing unsprung mass for maximum track performance. Magnesium wheels require dedicated care to preserve their finish and structural integrity.

Are your wheels compatible with OEM center caps and TPMS?

Yes. All Grip Theory wheels are milled to accept OEM TPMS sensors. We also design the center bore to accept factory center caps for Porsche and BMW (where applicable) so you can maintain an OEM+ aesthetic if desired. Our proprietary billet center caps are included standard with every wheel.

Do you offer custom offsets or sizes not listed in the configurator?

Absolutely. The fitments listed in our builder are our curated, engineered setups guaranteed to perform perfectly out of the box. However, we can cut any of our wheel designs to your exact offset, width, and diameter specifications through our Bespoke Wheel Studio.

What is the Center Lock Style Package?

The Center Lock Style package is a multi-piece center cap assembly designed for traditional 5-lug vehicles. It conceals the lug bolts behind a motorsport-style faux center lock nut, giving your car the aggressive aesthetics of a Porsche GT3 or Ferrari challenge car without requiring a hub conversion.
