CHEVROLET C6 CORVETTE BASE / Z51 FITMENT

The C6 Corvette (2005–2013) brought the Corvette into the modern era with its exposed headlights, LS2/LS3 power, and significantly improved interior. The base and Z51 models use the narrow-body shell with a 5x120.65 bolt pattern and 70.3mm center bore — the unique GM specification that is NOT compatible with standard 5x120 wheels. The narrow-body C6 has tighter wheel wells than the Z06/Grand Sport widebody, requiring higher offsets and more conservative widths.

Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x120.65  |  Center Bore: 70.3mm  |  Hub Type: Conical Seat  |  Lug Torque: 140 Nm (103 ft-lb)
Critical: 5x120.65 is unique to GM — NOT compatible with 5x120 BMW/Camaro wheels. Always confirm exact bolt pattern specification.

18"/19" Staggered — Street Standard

The 18/19 stagger matches the factory diameter split and provides a clean, proportional upgrade that fills the narrow-body fenders appropriately.

01

18/19" Flush Stagger

A clean, proportional upgrade for the narrow-body C6.

  • Recommended Front: 18x8.5 ET55
  • Recommended Rear: 19x10 ET58
  • Street Tires: 245/40R18 Front, 285/30R19 Rear
  • Performance Tires: 255/35R18 Front, 295/30R19 Rear

Why this setup: The narrow-body C6 requires high offsets — ET50+ on both axles to keep the wheels within the tighter fender arches. The LS3's 430 hp (or LS2's 400 hp) is more than enough to exploit a 285/295mm rear tire. Forged wheels saving 4–6 lbs per corner meaningfully improve the C6's steering feel and braking response. The Z51 package adds stiffer suspension but has no effect on fender clearance.

19"/20" Staggered — Aggressive

For a more dramatic look at the absolute limit of narrow-body clearances.

02

19/20" Mild Poke Stagger

The absolute limit for the narrow-body C6 without fender work.

  • Recommended Front: 19x8.5 ET50
  • Recommended Rear: 20x10 ET55
  • Tires: 245/35R19 Front, 285/30R20 Rear
  • Warning: Minor rubbing may occur at full compression on lowered cars. Not recommended without confirming clearance first.
