CHEVROLET C6 CORVETTE Z06 / ZR1 / GRAND SPORT FITMENT
The C6 widebody Corvettes are legends. The Z06's LS7 7.0L V8 (505 hp NA) is the last naturally aspirated small-block monster, the ZR1's LS9 supercharged 6.2L (638 hp) was the Corvette that shocked the supercar world at the Nürburgring, and the Grand Sport brings the widebody look with LS3 power. All use the 5x120.65 bolt pattern with a 70.3mm center bore — the unique GM spec. The widebody fenders provide dramatically more clearance than the narrow-body base C6.
Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x120.65 | Center Bore: 70.3mm | Hub Type: Conical Seat | Lug Torque: 140 Nm (103 ft-lb)
Critical: 5x120.65 is unique to GM — NOT compatible with standard 5x120 BMW wheels.
19"/20" Staggered — Street Standard
The widebody's flared fenders accommodate wider wheels and lower offsets than the narrow-body base C6 — this is where the C6 platform really shines visually.
01
19/20" Flush Stagger
Modernizing the C6 widebody with a properly filled, contemporary fitment.
- Recommended Front: 19x10 ET40
- Recommended Rear: 20x12 ET45
- Street Tires: 285/30R19 Front, 325/25R20 Rear
- Performance Tires: 295/30R19 Front, 335/25R20 Rear
Why this setup: The widebody fenders accommodate up to 12" rear and 10" front wheels at ET38–ET45. The Z06's naturally aspirated LS7 rewards wider rubber — the 505 hp builds linearly to 7,000 RPM, putting sustained load on the rear tires. The ZR1's 638 hp supercharged LS9 demands the widest possible rear contact patch. Forged wheels are essential on the Z06, which was designed from the factory as a lightweight track car — cast wheels contradict its engineering philosophy.
18" Square — Track Weapon
The C6 Z06 is one of the greatest track cars ever built from Detroit. An 18-inch square setup maximizes its legendary potential.
02
18" Square Track
The legendary track setup that exploits the C6 Z06's full potential.
- Recommended Size: 18x10.5 ET40 all around
- Track Tires (200TW): 295/30R18 Square
- R-Compound: 305/30R18 Square
- ZR1 Brake Note: The ZR1's carbon ceramic brakes are larger — confirm spoke clearance at 18".
Why this setup: 295mm tires on all four corners give the C6 Z06 enormous grip. The standard Z06 Brembo brakes clear 18" easily. A forged 18x10.5 at ~22 lbs versus the factory 25+ lb cast wheel provides meaningful weight savings on a car already designed to be light (3,130 lbs for the Z06). The square setup enables tire rotation and creates a more neutral, predictable handling balance.
