TOYOTA GR COROLLA FITMENT

The GR Corolla is Toyota's turbocharged, AWD homologation-style hot hatch. Featuring the G16E-GTS 3-cylinder engine and the GR-FOUR AWD system, it uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 60.1mm center bore. The car is designed from the factory to be a rally-bred weapon, meaning it has enormous fenders that can swallow aggressively wide square setups to maximize traction on all four corners.

Why this setup: The factory 18x8.5 ET30 wheels are conservative for the GR's wide arches. Stepping up to a 9.5-inch width at the same ET30 offset pushes the wheel out 12.7mm, creating a perfectly flush stance without rubbing on stock suspension. The 255 or 265mm tire provides a massive increase in mechanical grip that the GR-FOUR system can fully exploit. A forged 18x9.5 at ~18 lbs saves significant weight over the factory cast wheels, improving suspension response over rough surfaces.

Note: ET35 pulls the wheel in 5mm from flush to allow clearance for the massive 275mm tire. May require front camber bolts (approx -2.5 degrees) for clearance under heavy compression.

Why this setup: 275mm tires on a 3,200lb AWD hatchback provide mind-bending levels of grip. The higher ET35 offset is necessary to keep the wider rubber off the outer fender lip. This is the setup for chasing lap records.
