LAMBORGHINI HURACÁN PERFORMANTE / STO FITMENT
The Performante and STO represent the track-focused pinnacle of the Huracán lineup. The Performante's ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) active aero system and the STO's radical Cofango front end create aerodynamic profiles that are finely tuned to specific ride heights and wheel/tire diameters. The naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 producing 631–640 hp delivers its power with an intensity that demands lightweight wheels — every pound saved at the corners is felt through the chassis at 8,500 RPM. Built on the Audi-shared platform, these cars use a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 57.1mm center bore.

Critical: The Performante and STO aerodynamics are finely tuned. Changes to wheel diameter or tire size directly affect rake and aero balance. Consult with your installer before deviating from factory rolling diameters.
20" Staggered — Track Configuration
The Performante and STO are designed around a uniform 20-inch diameter all around. Maintaining this simplifies tire selection, provides the best combination of sidewall protection and weight savings, and preserves the car's carefully calibrated aero platform.

20" Flush Track Stagger
Optimized for lightweight forged construction with R-compound and slick tire access.
- Recommended Front: 20x9 ET30
- Recommended Rear: 20x12 ET35
- Street Tires: 245/30R20 Front, 325/30R20 Rear
- Track Tires: 245/30R20 Front, 325/30R20 Rear (Cup 2 or AR-1)
Why this setup: The 12" rear wheel with a 325mm tire provides enormous traction for the V10's 600+ hp delivered through the AWD system. The 9" front keeps the front light and responsive — critical for a mid-engine car where the front axle carries less weight. ET30 front and ET35 rear position the wheels flush with the Performante's aggressive bodywork. Forged wheels save 5–7 lbs per corner versus the factory options — on a car with a carbon fiber structure and sub-3,200 lb curb weight, this is an enormous percentage reduction in unsprung mass.
20"/21" Staggered — Street & Show
For street-focused Performantes or show builds, stepping up to a 20/21 split provides the dramatic visual impact expected from a supercar of this caliber.

Maximum visual impact while retaining drivability.
- Recommended Front: 20x9 ET35
- Recommended Rear: 21x12.5 ET40
- Tires: 245/30R20 Front, 305/25R21 Rear
Why this setup: The 21" rear creates a dramatic visual presence with maximum spoke visibility. The trade-off is reduced sidewall — the 25-series rear tire provides less curb compliance and is more vulnerable to impact damage. Not recommended for dedicated track use. Best for street driving and car shows where visual impact is the priority.

Huracán Performante / STO Tire Selection Guide
- Street Performance: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 — the factory spec. Outstanding dry grip with enough wet capability for street use. The stiff sidewall handles the Huracán's AWD cornering loads without deflection.
- Track Day (200TW): Nankang AR-1 — the value king for R-compound rubber. Delivers exceptional grip at a fraction of the cost of Michelin options. Ideal for owners who burn through tires at track events.
- Competition: Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo RS — Lamborghini's factory track partner. The highest grip DOT tire available for this platform.
- Street Grand Touring: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S — for owners who daily their Performante. More comfortable and better wet grip than the Cup 2, with only a modest reduction in dry performance.
STO-Specific Notes
- Front splitter clearance: The STO's fixed front splitter sits extremely low — significantly lower than the Performante. Wheel/tire diameter must be precisely maintained to avoid interference at full compression. Measure ground clearance with the car at ride height before driving on any new setup.
- Shark fin / dorsal fin: The STO's radical aero elements don't affect wheel fitment, but the overall aero balance is more sensitive to ride height changes than the Performante.
- Single-seater option: STO models with the passenger seat delete are approximately 25 kg lighter. This further amplifies the benefit of lightweight forged wheels.
