CADILLAC CT4-V / CT5-V BLACKWING FITMENT
The Blackwing models are GM's ultimate track sedans — and two of the last great American performance cars available with a manual transmission. The CT4-V Blackwing packs a 472 hp twin-turbo 3.6L V6 (the ATS-V's engine refined) into a compact RWD chassis weighing 3,600 lbs. The CT5-V Blackwing is a different animal entirely — the supercharged LT4 6.2L V8 from the C7 Corvette Z06, producing 668 hp, stuffed into a full-size luxury sedan. Both are designed for serious track use from the factory with magnetic ride dampers, massive Brembo brakes, and an electronic limited-slip differential.

Note: Same 5x120 pattern as 6th-gen Camaro, but the 67mm center bore differs from BMWs (72.56mm). Hub-centric rings are essential for proper centering and vibration-free driving.
19" Staggered — Street Standard
The Blackwings ship on 19-inch wheels from the factory. Maintaining this diameter preserves the magnetic ride calibration, Brembo brake cooling, and ABS sensor accuracy while significantly improving the car's stance and performance.

- CT4-V BW Note: The CT4 has slightly narrower rear fenders — ET28 rear provides flush. The CT5's wider rear fenders accommodate ET25.
Why this setup: The Blackwings' factory flared fenders demand aggressive wheel positioning to look right. ET30 front and ET25 rear push the wheels outward to properly fill the flares. The 295/305mm rear tire is essential for the CT5-V BW's 668 hp — the supercharged V8's instant torque delivery can overwhelm narrower tires on corner exit. For the CT4-V BW, the 295mm rear provides a significant traction improvement over the factory 275mm spec. Forged wheels save 5–7 lbs per corner versus the heavy factory cast wheels — on sedans this heavy (3,600–4,000 lbs), that reduction in unsprung mass dramatically improves steering feel and braking response.
18" Square — Track Weapon
For dedicated track builds, the 18-inch square setup is the definitive performance configuration. It enables tire rotation, provides more sidewall for curb compliance, and eliminates factory understeer.

- Brake Warning: The Blackwing's 6-piston front / 4-piston rear Brembos are tight at 18" — confirm spoke-to-caliper clearance with our team before ordering. Specific spoke designs are required for barrel clearance.
Why this setup: A square setup transforms the Blackwing from a muscle sedan with mild understeer into a neutral, exploitable track car. Equal-width 285mm tires front and rear create balanced grip that lets the car rotate predictably on throttle. The 18" diameter saves 4–5 lbs per corner versus 19" and the taller sidewall absorbs the aggressive curbing that the Blackwing's magnetic ride suspension can subject the wheels to during track driving.

Blackwing Tire Selection Guide
- Street Performance: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S — the benchmark for heavy, powerful sedans. The strong sidewall handles the Blackwing's weight without rolling under cornering.
- Street/Track Hybrid: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 — the factory CT5-V BW tire. Significantly more dry grip. The stiff sidewall provides the lateral support these heavy cars need at track speeds.
- Track Day (200TW): Nitto NT01 — outstanding heat management for heavy, powerful cars. Available in 285/35R18 and 295/35R18 for the square track setup.
- Time Attack: Yokohama Advan A052 — highest peak grip. The Blackwing on A052s is one of the fastest configurations in the American sedan time attack class.
