CHEVROLET C7 CORVETTE Z06 / ZR1 / GRAND SPORT FITMENT

The C7 widebody Corvettes are some of the most capable American sports cars ever built. The Z06 packs a supercharged LT4 V8 making 650 hp, the ZR1 pushes that to 755 hp with a massive 2.65L supercharger, and the Grand Sport wraps the widebody fenders around the naturally aspirated LT1. All three share identical widebody dimensions and use the 5x120.65 bolt pattern — the classic GM imperial pattern that is NOT the same as the common 5x120 used by BMWs and the C8 Corvette. This 0.65mm difference means BMW/Camaro wheels will NOT bolt on correctly.

Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x120.65 (Imperial)  |  Center Bore: 70.3mm  |  Hub Type: Conical Seat  |  Lug Torque: 135 Nm (100 ft-lb)
Critical Warning: 5x120.65 ≠ 5x120. BMW, Camaro, and C8 Corvette wheels WILL NOT fit the C7 properly. Always use wheels specifically manufactured for the C7's imperial bolt circle.

19"/20" Staggered — Street Standard

The factory C7 widebody runs a 19/20 stagger. The massive rear fenders accommodate up to 12-inch wide rear wheels for incredible grip — essential for the Z06's 650 hp and the ZR1's 755 hp.

01

19/20" Widebody Street Stagger

The definitive C7 widebody setup — filling the iconic fender flares to perfection.

  • Recommended Front: 19x10 ET32
  • Recommended Rear: 20x12 ET41
  • Street Tires: 285/30R19 Front, 335/25R20 Rear
  • Performance Tires: 295/30R19 Front, 345/25R20 Rear

Why this setup: The 12" rear wheel with a 335/345mm tire provides an enormous contact patch — essential for the supercharged LT4/LT5's massive torque output. On the Grand Sport with the NA LT1 (460 hp), this setup provides more rear grip than the engine can overwhelm, allowing you to stay flat on the throttle through corner exits with total confidence. The 19" front provides adequate sidewall for curb compliance while the 20" rear maximizes the visual impact of the widebody fenders. Switching from factory cast to forged saves 10–15 lbs per corner on the heavy factory 20" rears — transformative for a car that weighs 3,500+ lbs.

19" Square — Track Configuration

For dedicated track use, a 19-inch square setup provides tire rotation capability, simplified logistics, and more sidewall protection on aggressive track surfaces.

19" Square Track

Maximum grip with tire rotation for track day cost savings.

  • Recommended Size: 19x11 ET35 all around
  • Track Tires (200TW): 305/30R19 Square
  • R-Compound: 315/30R19 Square
  • Brake Note: Z06 standard Brembo brakes clear at 19". ZR1's massive calipers may require specific spoke geometry at 19" — confirm clearance before ordering. 18" is possible on Z06/GS with standard brakes but tight.

Why this setup: A square 305mm tire on all four corners provides a massive combined contact patch and completely eliminates the C7's mild factory understeer. The taller sidewall at 19" (vs. 20" rear) provides significantly more curb compliance. On the Z06 and ZR1, the front tires work incredibly hard under braking from high speeds — the wider 305mm front (vs. factory 285mm) improves braking performance and reduces front tire degradation during long track sessions.

C7 Widebody Tire Selection Guide

  • Street Performance: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S — the benchmark for daily-driven C7s. Outstanding wet grip and consistent performance across temperature ranges.
  • Street/Track Hybrid: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 — the factory Z06 tire. Incredible dry grip with a predictable transition. Transforms the Z06 into a genuine track weapon on the street.
  • Track Day (200TW): Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R — designed for Corvette-class vehicles. Exceptional heat tolerance for multi-stint sessions. Available in the massive 335-width rear size.
  • Competition: Nankang AR-1 (305/30R19 square) — durable R-compound for multi-stint racing. The best value in competition rubber for the C7 platform.
