MERCEDES-AMG E63 (W212 / W213) FITMENT

The E63 AMG is the quintessential German muscle sedan. Both the W212 (2010–2016) and W213 (2017+) generations use a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.6mm center bore. These heavy, immensely powerful sedans—especially the AWD 4MATIC models—require high-load-rated forged wheels and precision fitment to house their massive brakes while properly filling their wide, aggressive fender flares.

Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x112  |  Center Bore: 66.6mm  |  Hub Type: Ball Seat  |  Lug Torque: 150 Nm (111 ft-lb)
AWD Warning (4MATIC): Late W212 and all W213 E63s are 4MATIC. Staggered tire setups must have front and rear overall rolling diameters matched within 1% to prevent transfer case damage.

20" Staggered — The AMG Standard

20-inch setups maximize the visual presence of the E-Class flagship while providing the necessary clearance for the massive front brakes.

01

20" Aggressive Stagger

Flush fitment that commands attention while handling the twin-turbo V8 torque.

  • Recommended Front: 20x9.5 ET35
  • Recommended Rear: 20x10.5 ET40 (W212) / ET45 (W213)
  • Tire Sizes (W212): 255/30R20 Front, 295/25R20 Rear
  • Tire Sizes (W213): 265/35R20 Front, 295/30R20 Rear

Why this setup: The E63 accommodates significantly wider wheels than the C63. W213 models have slightly more generous fender clearances and run a taller overall tire diameter than the older W212. Carbon ceramic brakes (if equipped) clear all Grip Theory 20-inch designs. Forged construction is mandatory for these 4,500lb sedans to prevent wheel failure under high dynamic loads.

19" Staggered — Performance & Comfort (W212)

For W212 owners, staying with a 19-inch setup provides more sidewall for better ride quality and improved straight-line traction.

02

19" Performance Stagger

More sidewall compliance and reduced unsprung weight.

  • Recommended Front: 19x9 ET35
  • Recommended Rear: 19x10 ET40
  • Tire Sizes: 255/35R19 Front, 285/30R19 Rear

Why this setup: 19-inch wheels were standard on the W212 and provide noticeably better ride comfort over broken pavement compared to 20-inch setups. Factory brakes clear 19-inch wheels, but check spoke clearance if equipped with carbon ceramics. The taller sidewall helps put the M157 engine's immense torque to the ground more effectively.

E63 AMG Tire Selection Guide

  • Street Performance: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S — excellent traction in wet and dry conditions; essential for the E63's torque output.
  • Maximum Dry Grip: Yokohama Advan Apex V601 — stiffer sidewall for improved turn-in response on the heavy E-Class chassis.
  • All-Season: Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus — year-round capability for 4MATIC models driven in colder climates.
