FERRARI V8 BERLINETTA FITMENT
Modern Ferrari V8 mid-engine cars — the 458 Italia, 488 GTB/Pista, F8 Tributo/Spider, and 296 GTB — share a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 67.1mm center bore. Yes, that's the same bolt pattern as a Nissan 350Z. But the similarities end there — Ferrari's extreme stagger requirements, enormous carbon ceramic rotors (up to 398mm front on the F8), and precisely calibrated electronic systems demand meticulous wheel sizing. These are cars where the factory invests thousands of engineering hours into wheel/tire optimization — any aftermarket change must be executed with surgical precision.
Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 | Center Bore: 67.1mm | Hub Type: Conical Seat | Lug Torque: 120 Nm (89 ft-lb)
Critical: Ferrari CCB rotors create the tightest spoke-to-caliper clearances of any platform we work with. Every design is validated against Ferrari caliper dimensions before shipping.
20"/21" Staggered — Street Standard
The 488, F8, and 296 GTB ship with a 20/21 stagger from the factory. Maintaining this split is essential for preserving ride height, speedometer accuracy, ABS calibration, and the car's carefully engineered aero balance.
01
20/21" Factory Stagger
The standard Ferrari aftermarket configuration — aggressive width with OEM proportions.
- Recommended Front: 20x9 ET35
- Recommended Rear: 21x12 ET35
- Street Tires: 245/30R20 Front, 305/30R21 Rear
- Performance Tires: 255/30R20 Front, 315/30R21 Rear
Why this setup: The 12" rear wheel with a 305/315mm tire manages the twin-turbo V8's 660–710 hp through the rear axle. On a mid-engine car weighing under 3,200 lbs, the rear tires are working constantly — wider rubber provides the traction to exploit the engine's enormous output. The 9" front keeps the front end light and precise, essential for a mid-engine car's responsive steering character. Forged wheels save 5–7 lbs per corner versus factory — on a car this light, the improvement in steering response and braking performance is immediately noticeable.
19"/20" Staggered — Track Configuration
For Ferrari Challenge preparation and serious HPDE use, downsizing to 19/20 provides more sidewall protection, access to purpose-built slick and R-compound tires, and reduced unsprung mass.
02
19/20" Track Stagger
Optimized for Trofeo Pirelli, Ferrari Challenge, and HPDE applications.
- Recommended Front: 19x9 ET40
- Recommended Rear: 20x12 ET35
- Track Tires: 245/35R19 Front, 325/30R20 Rear
- R-Compound: 255/35R19 Front, 335/30R20 Rear
- Brake Warning: 19-inch front clearance with Ferrari CCB calipers is extremely tight. Only purpose-designed spoke geometries will clear. Contact us to verify compatibility with your specific model year before ordering.
Why this setup: The 19" front provides more sidewall for curb compliance on aggressive track surfaces. The taller tire absorbs rough track surfaces that would damage a thinner 20" tire. The 325/335mm rear tire at 20" provides enormous traction for the mid-engine car's rear-biased weight distribution during acceleration. Weight savings at 19" front are significant — typically 2–3 lbs per corner versus 20".

Ferrari V8 Tire Selection Guide
- Street Performance: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 — the factory sport spec on most models. Outstanding dry grip with a predictable progressive breakaway. The benchmark for street-driven Ferraris.
- Grand Touring: Pirelli P-Zero PZ4 — Ferrari's OEM tire partner. Excellent all-around performance with lower noise and better wet grip than the Cup 2. Ideal for daily driven cars.
- Track Day (200TW): Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo RS — the ultimate DOT-legal track tire for this platform. Maximum grip with a narrow operating window that rewards skilled drivers.
- Competition: Pirelli P-Zero DHE (Ferrari Challenge spec) — the official racing tire. Consistent, predictable, and designed for multi-stint competition use.
Model-Specific Notes
- 458 Italia: Uses the same 20/21 stagger but has slightly different inner fender clearances than the 488/F8. ET35 works across all models. The 458's naturally aspirated 4.5L V8 revs to 9,000 RPM — the lighter the wheel, the faster it responds to throttle inputs.
- 488 / F8 Tributo: Share identical dimensions and clearances. The F8's 710 hp makes wider rear tires (315mm+) especially beneficial.
- 296 GTB: Hybrid V6 with electric motors. The hybrid system adds weight (3,300+ lbs) — forged wheels are essential for load capacity and to counteract the additional mass.
