HYUNDAI ELANTRA N / VELOSTER N FITMENT

The N cars have taken the enthusiast world by storm. Both the Elantra N (CN7) and Veloster N (JS) use a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 67.1mm center bore. These lightweight, turbocharged hot hatches and sedans punch well above their weight class on track, and their owners are among the most active modifiers in the market. The high factory offsets dictate careful aftermarket fitment to avoid rubbing.

Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3  |  Center Bore: 67.1mm  |  Hub Type: Conical Seat  |  Lug Torque: 130 Nm (96 ft-lb)
Fitment Note: The Veloster N has slightly tighter rear fender clearances than the Elantra N due to its hatchback body style.

19" Square — The Street Standard

Matching the factory diameter with a wider, more aggressive fitment provides a dramatic stance improvement without sacrificing daily drivability.

01

19" Flush Square

A wider, flush fitment for daily driving and aesthetic builds.

  • Recommended Size: 19x8.5 ET45 all around
  • Street Tires: 245/35R19 Square

Why this setup: ET42–ET48 is the safe range. These cars have relatively high factory offsets, so going below ET40 risks rubbing on the front inner fender liner at full lock or the rear fenders under compression. A forged 19x8.5 provides more width while cutting significant weight from the factory cast wheels.

18" Square — Track & Autocross Focus

The sweet spot for HPDE and autocross — where these cars truly shine. 18-inch wheels provide more sidewall, lighter weight, and better tire selection.

02

18" Lightweight Track Square

Maximum grip and reduced rotational mass for track days.

  • Recommended Size: 18x8.5 ET45 (Safe) or 18x9 ET45 (Aggressive)
  • Track Tires (200TW): 245/40R18 or 255/35R18 Square

Why this setup: A lightweight forged 18-inch wheel is transformative on the N platform. The factory brakes clear 18-inch wheels easily. Weight savings of 4–6 lbs per corner over the factory wheels directly improves acceleration and braking response.
