LEXUS IS / RC / GS FITMENT
The modern Lexus RWD chassis — IS (3rd/4th gen), RC, and GS — use a 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a 60.1mm center bore. These cars are often overlooked in the aftermarket community, but their sophisticated rear-drive platforms respond beautifully to a well-chosen forged wheel upgrade. The smaller center bore requires attention to ensure proper hub-centric fitment.

Center Bore Warning: The 60.1mm center bore is smaller than most 5x114.3 platforms (like Nissan's 66.1mm or Honda's 64.1mm). Hub-centric rings are almost always required to prevent vibration.

- Recommended Front: 19x8.5 ET35
- Recommended Rear: 19x9.5 ET40 (or 19x10 ET42 for F models)
- Street Tires: 235/35R19 Front, 265/30R19 Rear
Why this setup: ET33–ET42 is the safe range for both axles. The IS F-Sport has the same clearances as the base model. The RC F and GS F have slightly wider rear fenders and can accommodate a 10-inch rear wheel comfortably. This setup sits perfectly flush without requiring fender modifications on stock suspension.
18" Square — Track & Comfort
Better ride quality and tire selection for daily driving, and balanced handling for light track use or canyon carving.

Dialing out understeer and improving ride comfort.
- Recommended Size: 18x8.5 ET35 all around
- Tire Sizes: 245/40R18 Square
Why this setup: 18-inch wheels clear all factory brake configurations (including F models, though spoke clearance should be verified). The square setup enables tire rotation and provides more balanced handling — especially beneficial for the IS, which tends toward understeer in its factory staggered configuration. The taller sidewall vastly improves ride quality over broken pavement.
