MCLAREN SUPER SERIES FITMENT
McLaren's road cars — the 720S, 765LT, 600LT, Artura, and their variants — are built around carbon fiber tubs that weigh approximately 170 lbs. This makes them extraordinarily sensitive to unsprung weight changes. - Brake Warning: 19-inch front wheels require very careful spoke design to clear the massive front calipers. Not all wheel designs are compatible — always confirm spoke-to-caliper clearance before ordering.
Why this setup: The 19" front provides more sidewall for curb compliance on aggressive track surfaces. On the 600LT and 765LT — cars specifically designed for track use — this additional protection is essential. The taller sidewall also creates a slightly softer tire carcass that provides better feel and feedback at the limit, which helps you push harder with confidence.

Why Weight Matters More on McLaren
McLaren's carbon fiber MonoCell/MonoCage structure creates a uniquely light platform where unsprung weight changes have a disproportionate effect:
- Carbon tub = rigid reference point: The extremely stiff tub means the suspension must do all the work of absorbing road imperfections. Lighter wheels allow the suspension to react faster and more precisely.
- Hydraulic suspension: McLaren's interconnected hydraulic suspension system is designed for specific unsprung mass. Reducing wheel weight improves the system's response rate and effectiveness.
