AUDI RS3 / TTRS FITMENT

The RS3 and TTRS feature the legendary 2.5L inline-5 turbo engine and use a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 57.1mm center bore. These compact performance cars produce 400+ hp through Quattro AWD, demanding square setups to protect the Haldex-based system. Their relatively light weight (3,400 lbs) makes them incredibly responsive to unsprung weight reduction via forged wheels.

Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x112  |  Center Bore: 57.1mm  |  Hub Type: Ball Seat  |  Lug Torque: 120 Nm (89 ft-lb)
AWD Warning: Always run square tire setups to protect the Haldex AWD system. The factory "reverse stagger" (wider front tires) is a band-aid for understeer; a true square setup with aftermarket sway bars is vastly superior.

19" Square — The Street Standard

19 inches is the enthusiast standard for RS3 and TTRS builds, filling the arches while maintaining clearance for the massive factory 8-piston front brakes.

01

19" Flush Square

Perfect aesthetics and massive front grip for daily driving.

  • Recommended Size: 19x9 ET35 all around (or ET30 for 8Y RS3)
  • Street Tires: 255/30R19 or 265/30R19 Square

Why this setup: ET28–ET38 is the safe range. The newer 8Y RS3 (2022+) has slightly wider fenders than the 8V (2017–2021) and can accommodate ET30 perfectly. The TTRS has the same clearances as the RS3. Going below ET25 will cause poke beyond the fender line. A forged 19x9 saves significant weight over the heavy factory wheels.

18" Square — Track Weapon

The 5-cylinder screams for lightweight wheels — this is where the magic happens. 18-inch wheels provide more sidewall for track curbing and significantly reduce unsprung weight.

02

18" Lightweight Track Square

Maximum mechanical grip and minimum rotational mass.

  • Recommended Size: 18x9 ET35 all around
  • Track Tires (200TW): 255/35R18 or 265/35R18 Square
  • Brake Warning: Spoke geometry is critical to clear the massive 8-piston front calipers.

Why this setup: 18-inch wheels clear the factory 8-piston front calipers with proper spoke geometry. A forged 18x9 under 18 lbs is transformative on the compact RS3/TTRS platform, dramatically improving acceleration, braking, and turn-in response.
