TOYOTA GR SUPRA (A90/A91) FITMENT

Built on BMW's CLAR platform and sharing its underpinnings with the Z4, the MK5 GR Supra uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.6mm center bore — not the 5x114.3 you'd expect from Toyota. The wide rear fenders, short overhangs, and long hood give this car one of the most aggressive profiles on the road. With the B58 producing 382 hp (or 255 hp in the 2.0T), the right wheel setup transforms the car's already incredible stance and maximizes the tire footprint where it matters most.

Quick Reference
Bolt Pattern: 5x112  |  Center Bore: 66.6mm  |  Hub Type: Conical Seat  |  Lug Torque: 140 Nm (103 ft-lb)

19" Staggered — Street Standard

The factory Supra ships with a 19-inch staggered setup, and for good reason. Maintaining 19-inch diameter is the sweet spot for both street driving and spirited canyon runs — the sidewall height provides excellent compliance on imperfect roads, and the tire selection at 19 inches is the best on the market for high-performance driving.

01

19" Aggressive Stagger

Fills the fenders perfectly while providing the widest possible contact patch for the B58's power delivery.

  • Recommended Front: 19x9.5 ET25
  • Recommended Rear: 19x10.5 ET35
  • Street Tires: 265/35R19 Front, 285/35R19 Rear
  • Aggressive Tires: 275/35R19 Front, 295/30R19 Rear

Why this setup: ET25 front provides flush fitment without rubbing at full lock — the Supra's steering geometry allows generous clearance at this offset. Rear ET35 tucks perfectly under the factory fender lip, creating that aggressive OEM+ look the A90 community loves. The staggered width (9.5" front / 10.5" rear) biases grip toward the rear axle, which is exactly what a 382 hp RWD car needs to deploy power efficiently and resist oversteer at the limit.

18" Staggered — Track Performance

Dropping to 18 inches opens the door to wider, grippier 200TW tires and significantly reduces unsprung weight. The taller sidewall absorbs curbing better and provides a safety margin when pushing hard over rough track surfaces. This is the recommended setup for owners who prioritize HPDE and time attack over street aesthetics.

02

18" Track Stagger

Purpose-built for weekend warriors and HPDE events. The taller sidewall absorbs curbing and protects your investment.

  • Recommended Front: 18x9.5 ET35
  • Recommended Rear: 18x10.5 ET25
  • Track Tires (200TW): 265/40R18 Front, 295/35R18 Rear
  • R-Compound: 275/40R18 Front, 305/35R18 Rear
  • Brake Note: Factory Brembo brakes clear 18-inch wheels with careful spoke design. Aftermarket big brake kits (StopTech, AP Racing) require confirming spoke clearance — our GT-02 and GT-03 offer the most generous caliper clearance of our lineup.

Why this setup: The Supra's chassis is exceptionally responsive to unsprung weight reduction. Switching from factory cast 19" wheels to forged 18" wheels can save 4–5 kg per corner — that's the equivalent of removing 80–100 lbs of rotating mass from the car. The result is faster turn-in, shorter braking distances, and a car that feels noticeably more alive at track speeds.

Supra Tire Selection Guide

The Supra's RWD layout and strong straight-line performance demand tires that balance rear traction with front grip.

  • Street Performance: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S — the benchmark. Excellent wet grip, low noise, and predictable breakaway that suits the Supra's rear-drive character.
  • Street/Track Hybrid: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 — for owners who split time between canyon roads and occasional track days. Significantly more grip than the PS4S in dry conditions, but wears faster.
  • Track Day (200TW): Yokohama Advan A052 — the highest grip 200TW tire available. Transforms the Supra into a genuine time attack weapon. Heat cycles quickly, so plan for 2–3 track days per set.
  • Budget Track: Toyo Proxes R888R — more forgiving than the A052 and lasts 2–3x longer. Ideal for HPDE events where you're building seat time rather than chasing ultimate grip.
  • All-Season: Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 — for owners who daily their Supra year-round. Surprisingly strong dry grip for an all-season tire, with real wet and light snow capability.

Understanding Offset on the A90 Supra

The Supra has a notably wider rear track than front, so staggered offsets are essential for a balanced, flush appearance.

  • Front ET22–ET28: ET25 is the sweet spot for flush fitment at stock ride height. Going below ET22 will poke beyond the fender line. Going above ET30 will start to look tucked inboard.
  • Rear ET30–ET38: ET35 provides a flush, OEM+ stance. The Supra's rear fenders are wider but not as dramatically flared as an M3, so there's a narrower safe range for offset experimentation.
  • If lowered: Lower ride height reduces inner fender clearance. If you're running coilovers, consider going 3–5mm higher on offset (e.g., ET28 front, ET38 rear) to prevent rubbing over bumps at full compression.
Bolt Pattern Reminder: The A90/A91 Supra uses 5x112 / 66.6mm CB — the same as modern BMWs (G20, G80, etc.). Standard Toyota 5x114.3 wheels will NOT fit. If you're coming from an older Supra (A80) or other Toyota platforms, you must specify the correct bolt pattern.
