DODGE VIPER (GEN 3 / GEN 4 / GEN 5) FITMENT

The Dodge Viper is the ultimate analog American supercar — an 8.4-liter V10 producing 640–645 hp (Gen 5) with no turbochargers, no superchargers, no hybrid assistance, and no electronic nannies to soften the experience. From Gen 3 (2003) through the final Gen 5 ACR (2017), the Viper uses a unique 5x115.5 bolt pattern — effectively the imperial 6x4.5" measurement. This is a Viper-specific pattern, meaning wheels must be custom-machined for this car. The Viper's massive V10 torque and aggressive factory tire sizing (up to 355mm rear) demand wheels built for extreme loads.

19" Staggered — Street & Track Standard

The Viper's enormous fenders accommodate some of the widest wheel and tire combinations of any production car. The 13-inch wide rear wheel with a 355mm tire is not excessive — it's necessary for managing the V10's brutal 600+ lb-ft of torque.

Why this setup: The Viper is one of the few production cars that genuinely needs a 355mm rear tire — the V10 produces over 600 lb-ft of torque at low RPM, delivered with zero lag through a mechanical connection. On a car this raw and unfiltered, the rear tires are the only thing managing the power. The 13" wide rear wheel at ET15 pushes the massive tire outward to fill the Viper's iconic rear haunches. The 295/305mm front tire provides the front-end grip needed for a 3,400 lb car that generates enormous speed into braking zones. Forged construction is essential — the Viper's factory cast wheels are extremely heavy, and saving 8–12 lbs per corner on a car this responsive completely transforms the driving experience.

18"/19" Staggered — ACR Track Configuration

Inspired by the Gen 5 ACR — the car that held the Nürburgring production car lap record. The smaller front diameter improves turn-in response and brake feel while the 19" rear maintains the massive contact patch.

  • Brake Warning: Gen 5 ACR Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes require specific spoke geometry at 18" front — confirm clearance before ordering.

Why this setup: The ACR's 18/19 stagger was chosen because the 18" front wheel is lighter and provides better steering feel — critical for a front-engine car with this much mass over the nose. The wider 11" front allows a 315mm front tire for enormous braking grip. The taller sidewall at 18" also provides more feel through the steering, which on an unassisted-steering Viper is critical for driver feedback.
