Forged magnesium is the lightest wheel material you can run on the street: it takes a further 20 to 30 percent of the weight out of an already-light forged aluminum wheel, and every gram comes off unsprung, rotating mass, where the car feels it most. The ten-spoke split-Y face is CNC machined from a one-piece forging for the RS center lock hub in the factory 20-inch sizes, so it clears the RS brake package and keeps the factory tire sizes.
